Circa 1980’s – 90’s
An absolutely stunning Artisan made vintage sterling silver multi-gemstone chunky statement bracelet. The bracelet is bezel set with shimmering iridescent labradorite, moonstone, turquoise, amethyst, lapis lazuli, garnet, rock crystal and a single pearl, in closed back settings. The gemstones are a mixture of shapes, including teardrop, marquise, round, oval and rectangular. The labradorite and moonstone have gorgeous iridescence, like butterfly wing. It looks amazing when it catches the light!
All the stones are absolutely huge! It is a substantial heavy piece. There is some surface wear commensurate with age and some natural imperfections to the stones but nothing in my opinion which detracts from its immense charm. The bracelet fastens with a shepherd’s hook clasp and shouldn’t be confused with the later mass produced bracelets, which are open back set and fasten with a toggle clasp. This is such a Unique and Fabulous Stand Out ‘One-of-a-kind’ Piece – you just won’t find another like it!
The lapis measures a whopping: 29mm x 19mm !
The marquise shaped labradorite measures: 28mm x 12.5mm
The amethyst measures: 18.3mm diameter
Weight is a Substantial 69g
