Vintage CHARLES HORNER Engine Turned Chrome Buckle Bangle Bracelet Art Deco 1940s Machine Age Collector
Circa 1940’s
A lovely vintage Charles Horner, engine turned chrome buckle bangle, which is adjustable. A very similar chrome engine turned bangle appears in Tom Lawson’s book ‘Charles Horner of Halifax’ – please see photo. You can see that the engine turned pattern is almost the same. Many of these CH bracelets come up for sale in sterling silver, but I have not seen any others in chrome.
There is quite a lot of surface wear commensurate with age and use, as well as tarnishing to the chrome plating on the inside of the bangle. It has been priced accordingly and is still very wearable.
Standard woman’s size – the diameter measures: 2.5” or 6.5cm across
