A very striking and unusual vintage mid-century malachite brooch, in a mussel, or triangular shape. The malachite is gorgeous and glossy, with beautiful striated markings. It’s such a tactile piece. There are signs of the original glue on the reverse, where the brooch fastener has been glued on, but this doesn’t show from the front and has been mentioned for the sake of accuracy. The brooch fastens with a simple C catch on the reverse.
Measures: 1.5″ x 1″, or 42mm x 24mm
