A wonderful old vintage, Venetian African, handcrafted matt glass trade beads necklace, on the original raffia string. The colours are lovely and subtle, predominantly yellow, with blue, green and other muted multicolours. There is no clasp – the necklace just goes on over the head and is very easy to wear. There is some surface wear to some of the beads, commensurate with age, but nothing which detracts in any way from their immense charm.
