Circa 1930
An absolutely charming Art Deco hand-embroidered flower basket panel – such a lovely colourful piece. The floral design, which is bursting with colour, has been hand-embroidered with silks, onto a linen background. There are a gorgeous mixture of English cottage garden flowers, including pansies, forget-me-nots and sweet peas, amongst others.
The panel measures approximately: 8.5” x 12”
Or 21.5cm x 30.5cm
There are some loose threads along the edges and a couple of very light marks, but nothing which detracts in any way from its immense charm.
