A fabulous vintage mid century Modernist, artisan made, glazed ceramic, studio pottery brooch, in the style of Brondsted, Denmark. A very simple and understated design in vibrant turquoise aqua and egg yolk yellow colours. There is no damage, just some light crazing, which looks much more obvious in the enlarged photographs than it does in real life. I think it just adds to its immense charm and shows it is an old piece. The brooch fastens with a roll over safety catch. There are signs of old glue on the reverse.
Measures approximately: 1″ square or 25mm
