Perfect For A Special Occasion!
A Fabulous True Vintage Mid-Century Electric Blue Foil Lame Maxi Dress. A truly one-of-a-kind piece – you will never see another like it. This is a bespoke dress, hand-made, with quite a lot of hand stitching. My mannequin is a size 10 and the dress is too loose on it, but In one of the pictures I have shown a very quick and simple way that you can make the dress fit a smaller size better, by using a metal bangle and a hair elastic. It really works and also adds a certain je ne sais quoi!
There is inevitably some wear commensurate with age, some loose threads here and there, some light fading on the back of the dress (please see final photo) but these minor imperfections don’t detract in any way from the immense charm of this fantastic and Unique Dress. It is in overall Very Good Original Vintage Condition and still Very Wearable today.
