A fabulous Art Deco vibrant lipstick red and jet black, Czech glass beads, choker necklace. The necklace is made up of stunning glossy red chunky faceted beads and jet black rondelles, with flat brass decorative bead caps, along with red spacers – the contrasting combination is really eye-catching.
The necklace came to me with a broken string – these old strings can be very delicate. It has since been professionally re-threaded, to restore it to its original glory. Anybody who has ever had a necklace professionally re-threaded will know that this is a really costly process, so this represents incredible value for money and it will last for decades to come.
The beads are well-preserved for their age, with minor surface wear which is to be expected. The necklace fastens securely with its original screw barrel clasp.
A very elegant short length, which hangs at the throat, measuring: 14.75″ or 37.5cm. Please measure your neck to ensure a good fit.
The largest central red bead measures: 14.7mm diameter
