A charming and very rare antique Victorian/Edwardian, hand-painted celluloid, Architectural Building/Tower brooch. The brooch has lovely hand-painted detail, right down to shadows and red roofs at the base of the tower. It has a long pin and simple C catch on the reverse. It is such an elegant and stylish piece, and could be worn by either a lady or a man.
The tower is most likely Blackpool Tower, although there are no markings on it to identify it as such.
It is in wonderful condition, with no damage. I’ve never seen another like it during all my research, so I believe it is very rare indeed. Perfect for a Collector.
