A beautiful antique iridescent Mother of Pearl long flapper necklace. The mother of pearl beads are joined together on brass wire links. There is no clasp, the necklace just goes on over the head; it’s very easy to wear. and can be worn in a number of ways.
I may be wrong, but I think this may have been a religious rosary/prayer beads at one time, as there are two beads which form a Y shape (please see photos) where a crucifix may have hung. This could easily be worn to the back, or a pendant could be hung from it as desired. Very wearable as it is.
