A really pretty original vintage Art Deco ‘carved’ celluloid moulded early plastic bangle. The bangle has a gorgeous floral design, of roses and daisies, or chrysanthemums, with foliage, in wonderful pastel colours – it’s so pretty and feminine. I love the way the ‘carved’ detail of the flowers really shows up when it’s held up to the light.
It’s in fantastic condition, with no damage that I can find. The line that you can see on the inside of the bangle is the join from when it was made, and is not damage. This also shows that it is an earlier piece. Stamped Japan.
