An incredibly Rare and truly stunning Vintage Sputnik brooch, set with the most fabulous purple Amethyst Swarovski Crystals. All of the stones are present and original to the piece and set into early deep cup settings. It is hard to show in the pictures how amazing this piece really is. The fabulous foil backed stones are fantastically radiant and mesmerising – they sparkle brilliantly from purple to pink whenever they catch the light. The only thing of note is that one of the stones is set at a rather jaunty angle, but it is secure. The golden metal is still amazingly shiny, even now.
The brooch is signed, but not with a stamp that I recognise. Please see penultimate photo.
It’s Rare to find a piece of this age, with genuine old Swarovski crystals, in such Wonderful Original Condition. A highly sought after item. The brooch fastens with a safety catch and is secure.
