A fabulous vintage SPHINX rhodium plated daisy floral bracelet, encrusted with sparkling marcasites, all of which are present. A wonderful Art Deco revival piece, complete with its safety chain, denoting high quality. The bracelet is rhodium plated, which is a metal of the platinum family, used on high end costume jewellery to prevent tarnishing. It is still wonderfully shiny even now. Signed in several places with the Sphinx Arrow symbol.

Sphinx was an English Costume Jewellery Designer and Manufacturer, established in 1948 in London. They were famous for their exquisitely designed high-end pieces with fabulous rhinestones, which looked just like the Real Thing. They made jewellery for Kenneth Jay Lane, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales, Saks 5th Ave, etc. Therefore, many of their pieces were not signed with the Sphinx name, but with the arrow symbol.
