A fabulous pair of 1940’s early plastic pastel pink bellflower clip-on earrings. The flowers are crafted from celluloid forming a clustered 3D shape. The brass metalwork is gilded and has a nice aged patina. The design is very reminiscent of the iconic jewellery of Miriam Haskell, with the flowers wired onto the perforated plastic base. They are stamped ‘Made Austria’ on the clips. The clips are strong and working well. These are highly sought-after and collectible vintage pieces.
Each earring measures: 2.5cm diameter
