Would make a Gorgeous & Romantic Gift!
A striking vintage Art Deco Bohemian Czech juicy red lustre glass beads necklace, with milky white spacer beads. The beads are all hand-made – you can tell they are not mass produced because they all differ slightly in shape and size. The smaller red beads have a wonderful lustre finish, which looks lovely when it catches the light. The necklace is in wonderful condition and on the original thread, which still seems good and strong. The only thing worth mentioning is that one of the pair of larger round beads has a slight ’crack’ – this is not damage but would have happened during the making process (please see final photo). It is very hard to spot and there is nothing which detracts in any way from its immense charm. The necklace fastens with a bolt ring clasp and is signed ‘Made in Czechoslovakia’ on the jump ring.
Everything is ALL ORIGINAL.
Lovely length – not too long and not too short. Measures : 17.25″ or 44cm
