A beautiful and luxurious pair of aurora borealis Swarovski crystal solitaire clip-on earrings. They have crown settings and could be by the highly regarded makers Schoffel. To all intents and purposes they look exactly the same and are a pair, but one earring has an open back and the other a closed back. The silver tone metalwork is a little tarnished here and there and one of the crystals has a tiny chip, but you really don’t notice these things when wearing.
The crystals are so fantastic and sparkly – they flash pastel rainbow colours whenever they catch the light. They are a lovely large size, but being solitaire., they are not over-the-top and quite understated for aurora borealis earrings. The clips are strong and working well. Quality vintage earrings.
