Vintage Bikini / Two Piece Swimsuit Striped Hotpants Boy Shorts and Halter Neck Top 1960s 70s ST MICHAEL Hippy Boho Summer Festival
Circa 1960’s – early 70’s
A Fabulous and Iconic striped bikini two piece swimsuit, by St Michael (the old name used by Marks & Spencer for clothing). The colours are really vibrant and you will definitely stand out with the gorgeous stripes in hot pink, red and orange etc!
The halter neck top fastens with red ties at the back and neck and can be adjusted to fit. It doesn’t have any lining or support, so would best suit a small bust. Or alternatively, it could be worn with another plain bikini top underneath, or as a tank top with jeans. The label says Size 14, Bust 36, but I would say this is a UK10 these days.
The matching hot pant boy shorts are really great too. The fabric of both is nice and stretchy, with added lycra, which was relatively new then. The label says size 12, Hips 37”, but again, I would say this is a UK10 these days.
Wear together or separately for a very Unique Look. You will Definitely Never see anyone else wearing the same thing!

The Fantastic Set has obviously seen very little wear and is in Excellent Vintage Condition.
