An adorable vintage Staybrite flower basket, or jardiniere brooch, by Charles Horner, with tutti frutti: red, aqua, blue and green rhinestone pastes. A lovely large size and still wonderfully shiny, even now. Staybrite was made from Chrome, Stainless Steel and Nickel, to give the effect of marcasites and it sparkles fabulously whenever it catches the light. There is a tiny bit of tarnishing on the reverse and a little verdigris on the front, but you only notice this when studying the enlarged photographs. There is nothing which detracts in any way from its immense charm. The brooch fastens with a simple C catch on the reverse.
