A gorgeous vintage mid-century rectangular wicker basket, with a sturdy wooden base. The basket has been painted off-white many moons ago. Some of the paint has flaked off over time, but I think the rustic time-worn distressed finish just adds to its immense charm. The basket is old, original mid-century, it has been hand-crafted.
It would be ideal as a bread basket, for fruit/vegetable storage, for general storage and display around the home, or simply as a decorative piece. A must-have for those who appreciate retro aesthetics and that wonderful country cottage style.
