Antique Vintage Art Deco BIJOUX MURAT PARIS Rolled Gold Brooch SIGNED Woman Man Unisex Modernist Jewellery
Circa 1930’s
A beautiful antique Art Deco, rolled gold, modernist leaf brooch, by renowned Parisian jewellers MURAT. Suitable for either a lady or a man. The brooch hasn’t been cleaned, but is still lovely and shiny even now. It fastens with a trombone clasp, which is working well. The pin isn’t totally straight, but that’s a very minor imperfection. Signed ‘Murat’ on a rectangular cartouche.
Bijoux Murat are one of France’s oldest jewellers, still in business today. Established in Paris, in 1847 by Charles Bertrand Murat, a self-taught jewellery designer. His vision was to make quality jewellery accessible to everyone.
