A STUNNING Set – Would Make A GORGEOUS GIFT!
A rare and beautiful vintage Art Deco Revival, Mother of Pearl Compact Set, complete with its Original Puff and Sifter, along with Mother of Pearl Lipstick Holder, all in the Original Box. Fabulously iridescent and very glamorous. Made in England and very similar to Stratton and KIGU. This set has clearly NEVER been used. I imagine it was gifted to someone 70-75 years ago, who considered it was ‘just too nice to use’, so it remained in a drawer, unused, but admired from time to time by its owner.
Both items are in Mint Condition, having been kept in their box all these years. Even the box is in Fantastic Condition. There is just a little light foxing here and there to the ivory satin lining, barely worth mentioning – please see photos.
