RARE UNUSUAL Antique Vintage Art Deco Carved Bakelite Plaque Cherry Amber Bakelite Swirl Beads & Wood Beads Long Flapper Necklace. SIMICHROME TESTED.

a Very Unusual and Totally Unique Piece!
A really unusual antique Art Deco long flapper necklace, made up of a carved bakelite plaque, two cherry amber bakelite swirl beads and wooden beads. The bakelite has been tested with simichrome and gave a very positive result – turning bright pink. I have had this result before with bakelite on a cream coloured piece, so it is not the colour coming off the object.
There is a split in one of the wooden beads and a little surface wear on the reverse of the plaque, but nothing which detracts from its immense charm.
Everything is ALL ORIGINAL.
Necklace measures approximately: 52″ or 132cm
Plaque measures : 2.75 x 1.75″ or 7cm x 4.5cm
