A Breathtaking Antique Art Deco, Czech Glass, Cornflower / Sapphire Blue, Chunky Cube Beads Long Flapper Necklace, hand-crafted in the historic Kingdom of Bohemia. The cube beads have lovely bevelled edges, exuding timeless charm; they are threaded on the original string, along with pressed glass spacer beads.
These cube bead necklaces, especially the longer ones, are becoming rarer and much harder to find. So, don’t miss out on this for your collection!
There is no clasp, the necklace just goes over the head and is very easy to wear. It is so long that it can be worn in a variety of different ways. The beads are hand-knotted, denoting quality and the string still seems good and strong. You just can’t beat a hand-knotted necklace for strength and durability over time, and this has certainly stood the test of time.
There are some fleabites and tiny chips here and there, as can be expected with any antique glass necklace, but you would only notice this if you were scrutinising with a jeweller’s loupe, not when wearing. Despite their considerable age, the beads remain in very good condition and there is nothing which detracts in any way from the immense charm of this fabulous original Art Deco piece.
