A Totally Unique and Very RARE Piece!
Perfect for a Collector, or to Wear and Enjoy.
A magnificent and very rare Artisan made, antique silver, Victorian to Art Deco, Egyptian Revival, Scarab Beetle brooch. The silver has a lovely dark patina, which really shows all its detail. The origin is French – this is evident by the trombone clasp (which is working well). It is signed in two places with indecipherable symbols. The brooch is in wonderful condition for its considerable age, there are just two tiny dings on the pie crust edge, which is clearly ancient damage, or it could even be another silver stamp, this doesn’t in my opinion detract from its immense charm in any way. The brooch also has a bale, which enables it to be worn as a pendant. It is such a Rare and Unique hand-made piece – you won’t find another like it!
Please note: the chain is not included; it’s just to show what it looks like as a pendant. You can add your own chain if you wish.
