A beautiful vintage Art Deco Lizard brooch, studded with sparkling marcasites and ruby red eyes. The marcasites look fabulous whenever they catch the light. The brooch is rhodium plated, which is a metal of the platinum family, used on high end costume jewellery to prevent tarnishing. It fastens with a rollover safety catch on the reverse. There are three miniscule marcasites missing at the end of the tail – they are tinier than pin heads so it’s very hard to spot with the naked eye. Also, the very tip of the tail and one of the legs exhibit slight damage (please refer to the photographs). Despite these minor imperfections, the brooch retains its fabulous allure and remains highly wearable, but you may not want to gift it for this reason. The pricing has been adjusted accordingly, offering you an opportunity to acquire this stunning piece at an excellent price.
