A FABULOUS vintage Art Deco Revival satin art glass beads long flapper necklace, which could easily be either Venetian or Czech, but my money is on Czech. The beads are really unusual, with swirling stripes like humbug sweets. They have a wonderful iridescence to them and they are an uncommon triangular wedge shape. They are strung on gold tone wire, along with aurora borealis and French jet glass beads, which makes for a lovely contrast.
The beads are in excellent condition, with no damage that I can find. There is no clasp – the necklace just goes on over the head and is very easy to wear. It is a lovely elegant length – not too long and not too short, and it can also be worn doubled.
