A fabulous vintage triple strand celluloid ‘balls of wool’ beads necklace, which looks as though it has been carved, but actually the beads are moulded. The necklace is a gorgeous English mustard yellow colour. It is the perfect piece for either day or evening. It really is quite different and unusual. The beads are made of celluloid, an early plastic, which makes the necklace very lightweight and easy to wear. It is on the original string, which still seems strong. It fastens with a large brushed gold Eloxal push-in box clasp, which fastens with a reassuring click.
