Circa 1920’s – 30’s
An unusual antique Art Deco Bohemian Czech citrine yellow cut glass faceted ‘cube’ beads necklace, on rolled gold links. These lovely ‘cube’ bead necklaces are getting rarer and harder to find. The beads are actually an unusual square based pyramid shape with 24 sides, rather than a cube.
There are some fleabites, commensurate with age, but you really don’t notice this unless scrutinising with a jeweller’s loupe, certainly not when wearing. I don’t think this detracts in any way from its immense charm. The rolled gold is still lovely and shiny, even now. The necklace fastens with a shepherd’s hook clasp.

A nice length – not too long and not to short. Measures: 17.75″ or 45.5cm
The largest central bead measures: 12.9mm square
