A Very Unusual and Totally Unique Piece!

A really unusual vintage Art Deco style chunky beads long flapper necklace, made up of fabulous heavy plastic beads, which look just like granite! They have a wonderful satin sheen, with red brick, brown and cream flecks. The beads graduate to very large and chunky in the centre. It really is quite an amazing piece!
The beads are threaded onto what I believe is the original cat-gut thread, which still seems strong. The necklace fastens with a push-in clasp. It looks very Art Deco, but the clasp and the type of thread date this to the 1960’s. Just out of curiosity, I tested one of the beads with simichrome polish, but it didn’t test positive for bakelite (worth a try!)
Everything is ALL ORIGINAL.

The largest central bead measures a huge: 25.4mm diameter
