A pretty antique Art Deco Bohemian Czech drop brooch, set with two marquise cut saphirets, an imitation emerald and sapphire, along with imitation pearls. The metalwork is gilded brass, with early pointed back settings. There are signs of old glue and the gilding has worn back to the brass in places, commensurate with age, but I don’t think it detracts from its immense charm. The brooch fastens with an early C catch on the reverse.
Measures: 1.5″ drop
