A rare and beautiful antique Art Deco Satin Glass Hubbell Beads necklace, hand-crafted in the Old Kingdom of Bohemia. The beads are simply beautiful – a flattish oval shape and beautifully vibrant, like an intense turquoise sky blue, with a striking dark grey matrix pattern. They are very realistic. The metal is chrome plated brass. There is a little wear here and there, where the brass underneath is showing through. And one of the beads has a tiny hole, which is not damage, but would have been where an air bubble formed during the manufacturing process. It isn’t noticeable unless scrutinising and is mentioned for the sake of accuracy (please see penultimate photo). None of these minor imperfections detract in any way from its immense charm. The little spacer beads are made of brass. There is no clasp, the necklace just goes on over the head and is very easy to wear. A lovely longer length.
It’s so rare to find one of these necklaces in satin glass, and not only that, but a longer length too. Don’t miss this for Your Collection!
