A beautiful antique natural white Angel Skin Coral necklace, with pretty pink blushes here and there. The beads are a fabulously large size for coral and fairly uniform in size, although they all differ slightly, which is a sure sign they have been hand-carved.
The necklace came to me with a broken string, but thankfully all the beads still intact. It has just been professionally re-threaded, exactly as it was, with each bead hand-knotted. You just can’t beat a hand-knotted necklace for strength, durability and beautiful aesthetics. It has its original fish hook clasp, which emits a satisfying click, providing assurance of its secure closure.
Those of us who have had a necklace professionally re-threaded will know that it is very costly – so this represents excellent value for money and will last for decades to come.
Each bead measures approximately: 7.35mm – 7.8mm
